Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location. Responsibilities
Perform financial analysis and reporting, financial forecasting and product driven analysis of payment rates, net credit loss ratios, fees, and balance growth. Perform data analytics using Excel Advanced, SQL server, Query interface, Microsoft Access, Power Point, Macros, Tableau, Knime, Power BI, Essbase, Hyperion, InquiryFrameWork (IFW), and Resource Planning (RP). Execute analysis of annual three-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks. Prepare financial reports summarizing trends to provide insights to senior management. Prepare presentations and analysis to support reviews by CFO and CEO, including business initiatives. Lead analysis of product profitability and provide guidance on business and product decisions for US Services, including expected Return on Assets, Return on Investment, capital requirements, operating margin, required investments, and productivity. Prepare presentations and analysis for team supporting CFO on Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, Risk and Opportunities assessments, Outlook, Earnings, Quarterly Multi-Year Multi-Forecast, and Strategic Operating Plan reviews. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on key processes such as CCAR, Plan, Outlook, and P&L-based analysis. Provide insights on revenue and expense trends, cost of credit correlation, balance, and business drivers to senior stakeholders and team members. Provide insight across all forecasting and planning activities, including Outlook, Flash/Actuals, Quarterly Earnings, Monthly Closes, long-term regulatory planning, and ad hoc strategic deliverables. Offer solutions for revamping and simplifying planning processes using new digital tools and capabilities such as Tableau, Knime, Power BI, and Essbase to improve forecasting and business decision processes. Ensure enhancement of governance and controls, including re-engineering and automation efforts supporting Financial Planning and Analysis transformation initiatives. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Global Expense Management Team Lead, or related position involving financial planning and analysis for the financial services and consumer lending business. Six (6) years of experience must include: Financial analysis and reporting; Financial forecasting and budgeting; Product driven analysis (payment rates, net credit loss ratios, fees, and balance growth); Data analytics; Excel Advanced, SQL server, Query interface, Microsoft Access, Power Point, and Macros; Tableau, Knime, and Power BI; Essbase, Hyperion, InquiryFrameWork (IFW), and Resource Planning (RP); Data Standard Management Tool (DSMT); and Regulatory knowledge.
