Join our team as an administrative support specialist and play a vital role in our Program Management and Administration Division. This position's primary responsibility is providing administrative support to the Division Director. Additionally, the position provides front desk support, timesheets, travel arrangements, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Our Juneau office is located at 3132 Channel Drive, a short walk to the DIPAC Ladd Macaulay Salmon Hatchery, with parking and a view of the channel. Qualifications and competencies

Six months of entry-level technical experience in one or more administrative functions (e.g., human resources, accounting, administration, procurement). This can include roles such as Administrative Assistant 1, Accounting Technician 1, Human Resource Technician 1, or equivalent. OR One year of advanced-level clerical experience (e.g., Office Assistant 2, Accounting Clerk, or equivalent). OR One year of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year). OR One year of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience. Special Note:
Examples of entry-level technical experience and advanced clerical experience are provided in the original description and may include tasks such as preparing reports, verifying accounting data, preparing financial documents, and processing procurement documents.
