Location: Corcoran, CA.

Salary range: $24,905.00 – $29,640.00 (base pay).

Effective July 1, 2025, all full-time employees in Bargaining Unit 16 will have their base salary reduced by 4.62% and will receive 8 Personal Leave Program 2025 leave credits monthly for at least 16 months. This applies to part-time and permanent intermittent employees on a prorated basis.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise all civil service and contract medical physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants assigned to the institution.

Collaborate with other clinical and custody supervisors and managers to ensure medical services are provided safely, timely, effectively, and efficiently to the patient population.

Pay Benefits

Employees in this class who are physically located and assigned to the institution shall receive a pay differential equivalent to 15% of their monthly base pay.

Minimum Qualifications

Legal requirement to practice medicine in California as determined by the Medical Board of California or the California Board of Osteopathic Examiners (applicants in process of approval will be considered if final approval achieved before appointment).

Valid certificate issued by an American Medical Specialty Board or an American Osteopathic Board as a specialist in one of the fields of medicine, or eligibility for examination for such a certificate as evidenced by a written statement from the Secretary of an American Specialty Board or an American Osteopathic Board.
