The Limited Practice Technologist performs imaging exams in accordance with Core Exam Specifications and within the scope of a Limited Scope Radiographer license. Competency must be demonstrated through successful completion of skills tests and ongoing professional development. Essential Functions

Verify patient identity and exam orders; prepare patients for imaging procedures Provide clear, compassionate explanations to patients and families to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation Address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy Perform radiologic exams that yield high-quality images while maintaining safety for patients and staff Follow protocols for positioning, equipment use, and radiation protection Respond promptly to emergent patient situations Accurately complete documentation, including time stamps and image storage Coordinate care and communicate effectively with other providers Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Pursue ongoing education, especially for new procedures and equipment Required Skills

Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist / Limited Scope Operator in the state of practice or ARRT Board Registry Eligible per state requirements Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers Competency in at least one of the following areas: Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, Bone Densitometry (DEXA) Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience in an ambulatory outpatient clinic environment What You’ll Gain
