Job Summary and Responsibilities The incumbent performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The incumbent assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. The incumbent acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission Standards, and professional and ethical practice.

Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications

Recent 3 years wound care nurse experience required

AA degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required

Licensed or eligible for licensing in State as a Registered Nurse. Wound Care Certification required within 90-days of hire or transfer. WOUND CARE CERTIFICATION;RN;CT CPRBLS

Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required

Preferred Qualifications

Recent 5 years wound care nurse experience preferred

BS degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred
