Job Summary and Responsibilities The Radiologic Technologist will maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician/provider’s practice under the supervision of radiologists, licensed staff, and management. Responsibilities include preparing patients for radiologic examinations, relaying instructions from the radiologist, collecting and documenting patient data, maintaining accurate patient records, and performing diagnostic medical imaging. The role may involve assisting in other modalities, required licensure, and occasional work at additional locations within the Greater Sacramento Area.

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent program

Licensed California CRT

BLS Certification through the American Heart Association

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety

Impact of decisions on patient relationships, outcomes, physician efficiency, and clinic resources

Collaborates with patients, physicians, clinic staff, hospital staff, family members, and vendors

Reports to the department Chief Technologist/Manager; no supervisory responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Six months of experience in an outpatient environment

Medical terminology and familiarity with electronic practice management systems and PACS

ARRT Certification

Pay Range $38.34 - $57.03 per hour
