Leasing Specialist – HOHM Highlandtown Apartments | WPM
At WPM, our Leasing Specialists play a key role in transforming apartments into homes. In this role, you’ll connect with prospective residents, provide exceptional customer service, and market the community to showcase its best features. From touring apartments to guiding applicants through the leasing process, you’ll ensure every prospect and resident feels valued while helping foster a vibrant, welcoming community.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in customer service, sales, or marketing who enjoy helping people find the right home. Leasing Specialists receive competitive base pay, plus the opportunity to earn commission.
Schedule: 16 hours per week, Monday–Friday between 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (schedule may vary based on community needs), with Saturday availability from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour + commission opportunities
Key Responsibilities
Welcome residents and prospective residents with warmth and professionalism
Conduct tours of model and available apartments
Guide prospects through the full application and leasing process
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing residents’ needs, concerns, and requests
Organize and support resident appreciation events to strengthen community engagement
Market the property through creative outreach and advertising on designated platforms
Collaborate with the team to resolve resident issues and enhance the living experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Professional and positive presentation in appearance, demeanor, and communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with PC operations and ability to quickly learn new software
Demonstrated sales ability, including overcoming objections and closing deals
Exceptional customer service skills with a resident-first mindsetValid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior leasing or sales experience preferred
NALP Certification a plus
