Principal Service Engineer IS, Supply Chain Join Providence as a Principal Service Engineer in our IS Asset and Supply Chain Management team. You will collaborate closely with 3rd‑Party Logistics partners, end‑user support, and internal ServiceNow and Oracle teams to deliver exceptional services for our caregivers.

We need a dynamic, innovative engineer with strong background in continuous improvement, AI‑driven user experiences, and commitment to streamlining hardware fulfillment processes—including IT asset disposition (ITAD), project‑based orders, imaging, and ServiceNow data integrity.

Location: Remote; supported virtual work for residents in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, California, Texas (Lubbock, Levelland, Plainview).

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate service engineering initiatives across complex, global supply chain environments.

Collaborate with service partners to deliver scalable solutions and maintain service quality.

Drive automation and process improvements to increase supply chain uptime and performance.

Provide data‑driven insights to support engineering decisions and operational excellence.

Maintain and enhance ServiceNow platform integration and data integrity.

Ensure effective backlog management, prioritization, and communication across stakeholders.

Represent the service team in backlog discussions, stand‑ups and prioritize live site requirements.

Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Engage vendors and third‑party logistics to integrate services and optimize inventory.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience.

8+ years of related experience.

Experience in automation of deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.

Hands‑on experience with n‑tier solutions and resilience modeling.

Proven ability to translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture.

Strong communication and collaboration skills for backlog, prioritization and stakeholder engagement.

Experience in advanced problem solving, root‑cause analysis and data‑driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education.

Health‑care environment experience.

PMP certification or Agile development experience.

Leading service engineering initiatives across global supply chains.

Supply planning or inventory management background.

Experience designing scalable service solutions, automation frameworks and KPI dashboards.

Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Power Automate).

Strong supply‑chain logistics, fulfillment and inventory management experience.

California, Humboldt: $71.23 – $121.29

California, Northern (except Humboldt): $79.92 – $136.08

California, Southern: $71.23 – $121.29

Montana, Great Falls: $52.12 – $88.75

Montana, except Great Falls: $55.01 – $93.68

Oregon, Portland Service Area: $68.33 – $116.36

Oregon, Non‑Portland: $63.70 – $108.47

Texas – Lubbock, Levelland, Plainview: $52.12 – $88.75

Washington, Western: $71.23 – $121.29
