Overview
The Leasing Coordinator role supports leasing operations for a student housing portfolio serving UC Berkeley students. You will be a key point of contact for prospective residents, assisting with inquiries, tours, applications, and general resident relations. Direct reports: Senior Leasing Manager and Director of Property Management. Responsibilities
Duties: Support leasing operations, handle inquiries, conduct property tours, process applications, and assist with resident relations. Leasing & Tours: Conduct property tours, provide information on leasing terms, rental rates, and apartment features. Leasing Process Support: Assist with application processing, collecting documents, and explaining lease agreements; coordinate lease signings and move-in. Administrative & Records: Maintain leasing software records and ensure documentation is complete and up to date. Resident Relations: Manage current resident communications regarding renewals, maintenance requests, and community updates; escalate issues when needed. Marketing & Outreach: Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to promote the property via social media, on-campus outreach, and events; assist with content creation for social media. Community Engagement: Plan and execute resident events; act as an ambassador for the property and foster a welcoming environment for UC Berkeley students. General Administration: Answer phones, manage emails, organize leasing files, and ensure the office is organized and stocked with materials. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Compensation: $28/hour Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental Benefits available for employee election at open enrollment or qualifying events Paid Holidays: 8 paid holidays; additional holidays at company discretion Paid Time Off: 2 weeks (10 business days) per year; accrual by paycheck Leasing Commission: Commission offered on a per executed lease contract basis Reimbursement of Expenses: Reimbursed per company policies Employment Details
