Work hours: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Patient Care Technicians at
The Johns Hopkins Hospital
provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to ensure all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required
One year of clinical experience in a relevant setting during the most recent two years; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered
BLS CPR certification required (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted)

Salary Salary Range: Minimum $19.65/hour – Maximum $30.46/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
