Position Overview Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP, a global law firm, seeks a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 1 year of general litigation experience. The successful candidate will handle most aspects of litigation, including managing discovery requests and responses, drafting and arguing motions, conducting research, drafting memoranda and correspondence, attending hearings and court conferences, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparations and trial.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
1–4 years of experience
Admission to the California Bar
JD from an accredited law school and a strong academic record
Excellent credentials
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Proficient legal research and drafting; experience conducting discovery and coordinating with local counsel
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Preferred but not required courtroom and deposition experience
Self‑starter with ability to prioritize workload, exercise good judgment and work well under pressure
