Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Cyber Network Operations (CNO) Software Engineer
to join our team! In this role you will get to develop cutting edge CNO tools as part of a large research and development program.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing novel capabilities from existing N-day POCs or unproven vulnerability disclosures
Modifying existing capabilities to change signatures, add new features, or enhance robustness
Working with another part of the team to develop tools to enhance the CNO development process to make it faster and more resilient to countermeasures
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and testing of CNO tools for Microsoft Windows operating systems
Experience developing system services using C/C++ using Windows APIs and related frameworks or libraries
Proficient with x86-64 Assembly and C/C++
A thorough understanding of using cryptographic primitives such as Diffie Helman Key Exchange, elliptic curves, hashing algorithms, symmetric block encryption, and digital signatures
Familiarity with basic IP networking concepts such as routing, NAT, DNS
Understanding the unique implementation techniques used in CNO tools
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
An active Top Secret U.S. government security clearance isrequired.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
Experience with Reverse Engineering and RE tools such as Ghidra
Familiarity with VR concepts such as shellcode, ROP payloads, etc.
Experience in customer facing roles (briefings, design reviews, technical exchanges, etc.)
Ability to grasp system concepts, break concepts into tangible components and understand how existing and future components will fit into a customer’s mission space
Familiarity with Git and Gitlab
Security Clearance Requirement An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
