Litigation Secretary
to provide high-level administrative and litigation support to attorneys in our Employment Law practice group. Position Overview
The
Litigation Secretary
will support a busy team of employment litigators handling single-plaintiff and class action matters. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. After an initial 90-day in-office training period, this position transitions to a
hybrid schedule (2 days onsite, 3 remote) . Key Responsibilities
Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence. File and serve documents in state and federal courts (electronic and manual filings). Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate court appearances. Manage attorney time entries, expense reports, and billing processes. Coordinate depositions, meetings, travel arrangements, and client communications. Assist with document production, eDiscovery coordination, and trial preparation. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Qualifications
5+ years of litigation secretary experience
in a law firm environment;
employment law experience strongly preferred . Proficiency in
MS Office Suite, iManage or similar DMS, and electronic court filing systems (state & federal) . Strong knowledge of
California and federal court rules and procedures . Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines. Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. Base salary:
