We have a 12‑month contract opportunity for an Epic Application Analyst. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to the greater Sacramento area. Open to remote candidates – occasional travel onsite for meetings and support.
Overview Our Client’s Pharmacy Service Line is seeking two Epic Application Analyst II contractors to support the Specialty Pharmacy PMP Project. These roles will focus on the build and implementation of specialty pharmacy workflows to support PMP and PTC departments, with the goal of achieving 340B status for high‑cost medications.

Responsibilities
Configure, build, and support Epic modules with a focus on Compass Rose Specialty Pharmacy, Population Health (Pop Health), and/or Willow Ambulatory.
Collaborate with project managers, clinicians, and technical teams to design and optimize workflows for specialty pharmacy operations.
Participate in project planning, testing, and validation activities to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and document application issues; elevate as needed to senior analysts or Epic support.
Assist with integration of specialty pharmacy workflows into existing Epic infrastructure.
Support ongoing system enhancements and upgrades related to Epic pharmacy applications.
Ensure build decisions align with organizational standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements (including 340B program goals).
Qualifications
Certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Specialty Pharmacy (Compass Rose), or Epic Population Health strongly preferred.
Experience implementing pharmacy‑related Epic projects, particularly in specialty or ambulatory settings.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and ability to translate requirements into Epic build solutions.
Demonstrated success managing project timelines and deliverables in a healthcare IT environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
