The mission of the Department is to serve and safeguard the people and protect the property and resources of California.
Job Description and Duties
This is a 12‑month limited‑term position that may be extended to 24 months with the possibility of becoming permanent.
You will be responsible for assessing wildfire risk and developing mitigation strategies in accordance with state policy and scientific best practices.
Collaborate with foresters, emergency managers, and the public to implement risk reduction projects.
Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, project plans, and budget allocations.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
Special Requirements
The position requires medical clearance prior to being hired.
