Position Overview
Gallatin College seeks non‑tenure‑track faculty for the Photonics & Laser Technology program. This role involves teaching undergraduate courses in Bozeman and providing graduate‑level expertise in optics, lasers, and photonics. Duties and Responsibilities
Teach courses in Electronics, Optics/Lasers/Photonics, and related specialties. Develop and update curriculum and assessments to meet program objectives. Engage students in laboratory instruction and hands‑on projects. Contribute to program development and student support initiatives. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities. Required Qualifications
Academic degree in Physics, Engineering, or related field. Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Physics or Engineering. Prior teaching experience at a two‑year college or similar institution. Understanding of the mission and values of a two‑year college. Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity. Candidate Attributes
