Gallatin College seeks non-tenure track faculty for Construction Trades programs including HVAC‑R, General Construction, and Plumbing. The role is a semester-based contract for 3–9 credits per semester, starting fall or spring. The position is a Non-Tenure Track (Pooled) appointment. Duties and Responsibilities

Teach courses in specialty areas such as Carpentry, HVAC‑R, General Construction, and Plumbing. Understand industry standards, college rules, and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with learners of varying skill levels. Recognize safety hazards and instruct students in proper tool use. Maintain and inventory equipment, consumables, and reorder supplies. Maintain an organized and clean learning environment. Provide or locate emergency medical assistance when needed. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

Three (3) years of experience in a related field. AAS or similar degree in a related field. Ability to demonstrate construction trades technique(s) to students with varying skill levels. Experience engaging diverse groups of learners within and outside the department. Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

Five (5) or more years of experience in the field related to instruction. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Industry standard professional certification(s). Commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity. Prior teaching experience. Understanding of the two‑year college mission. The Successful Candidate Will
