We’re excited to share that our clinic is looking for a skilled
Medical Billing & Coding Specialist
to join our team! Key Responsibilities: Oversee billing operations: charge entry, claims, payment posting, AR, denials, appeals, refunds Manage revenue cycle to reduce AR days, minimize denials, and maximize collections Act as coding expert (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) and ensure compliance Review and resolve claim rejections; implement process improvements Partner with physicians, staff, and hospitals to ensure accurate documentation Conduct audits to maintain billing accuracy and compliance Report AR, denials, collections, and other key metrics to Administrator Stay current on payer rules and billing regulations Collaborate with AthenaOne/EMR support for workflow optimization Ensure HIPAA and compliance standards in all billing processes Required Qualifications
Proven billing/coding experience in a physician or surgical practice Strong knowledge of revenue cycle and AR management Track record of reducing denials and improving collections Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver Strong communication skills with physicians, staff, hospitals, and payers Ability to analyze data and present insights Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage priorities Preferred Qualifications
CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Schedule
8 hour shift Monday to Friday Job Type

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours
