Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner
or
Physician Assistant
in Danbury, CT (60 miles from New York City). Our busy practice includes 3 physicians and 1 physician assistant. This is a great opportunity to work with renowned and highly respected physicians in their field.
You will conduct office evaluations, consults and procedures (such as sclerotherapy) and work independently with your own patient panel.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Surgical and/or Vascular Surgery experience preferred.
Our Vascular Surgery practice is located minutes from the Danbury Hospital Campus. Danbury Hospital (est. 1885) is a Level II Trauma Center, not‑for‑profit community hospital with 371 beds. It is associated with many medical schools. Nuvance Health Medical Practice has over 1,000 employed providers.
Job Requirements
Minimum formal education of Master Degree; State of CT RN and APRN license, or Bachelor Degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) school with CT State Physician Assistant license and certification by NCCPA.
CT Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Surgical or Vascular Surgery experience preferred.
Willingness to work Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (no weekends, evenings or call).
