About the Role Compliance Lead

– New York City. This role oversees U.S. compliance operations, monitoring, and advisory functions across Pagaya’s business lines. The incumbent partners closely with Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure regulatory alignment and integrates compliance into product and operational design.

Responsibilities

Lead compliance operations and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders.

Develop and execute compliance monitoring, testing, and review programs.

Support design and implementation of compliance frameworks for new products, including auto and point‑of‑sale lending.

Embed compliance requirements into product design and operational processes.

Assist with regulatory examinations and audits, preparing timely responses.

Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to assess compliance impacts.

Promote a culture of compliance awareness and accountability.

Requirements

5–8 years of compliance experience in a dynamic organization, preferably in lending, consumer finance, or securities.

Deep understanding of U.S. regulatory requirements for consumer lending and investment activities.

Demonstrated experience designing or managing compliance programs, including monitoring and testing.

Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and influence skills with senior stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation: $140,000 – $160,000 USD (commensurate with experience).
