Montgomery College, Central Services Campus, has an immediate need for a FT Information Technology Manager in the Office of Information Technology. The work schedule is 5 days/40 hours a week. This is a Non-Bargaining Status, Exempt, grade 37 position. The Information Technology Manager is responsible for architecting, developing, or managing information technology operations, systems or services for the College. An incumbent provides leadership, oversight and guidance to assigned staff engaged in monitoring and day to day operations, project, and systems management of the College's information technology systems. An incumbent is responsible for supervision, management and evaluation of one or more direct reports. Provide leadership, oversight and guidance for College Information Technology operations, development or engineering IT systems supporting areas such as application development, application support, database administration, data center operations, network operations, IT security, client services, client device support, collegewide academic technology support. Responsible for system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and incident response, including 24/7 on-call status for critical core systems or incident management. Supervise and provide leadership, guidance, and support to assigned staff. Conduct recruitment/interviewing and make recommendations to hire. Identify, develop and recommend professional development needs/opportunities and coordinate/conduct training. Evaluate performance, conduct formal and informal coaching, and recommend corrective or disciplinary action. Identify, evaluate, and initiate changes in performance expectations, set goals and objectives, and recommend action. Identify, develop and implement professional development plans. Oversee computer systems support activities through project and contract/contractor management, and task assignments. Manage projects as determined by the OIT tactical plan. Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of unit tactical plans. Perform needs analysis and participate in strategic planning. Identify and manage internal projects to improve systems efficiency, architecture, and security. Research new enterprise and emerging technologies. Manage the allocation of resources for projects and ongoing tasks. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Four years of experience in the management of Information Technology operations and project management. Two years of supervisory experience. The equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered. Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications
5 plus years of experience supporting Workday HCM and Financials modules. Proven experience in Workday system configuration, business process design, and security administration. Workday certifications in HCM, Financials, or Integration (preferred but not required). Experience with Workday reporting tools, architecture, and integration frameworks. Compensation
Hiring Range: $114,539-$157,505 annually. Initial salary placement for new hires falls between the minimum and midpoint of the range and is based on relevant candidate experience and internal equity. The maximum salary for this position is $200,472. Application Process
