Technical Training Specialist. What you will do in the position: Manages New Employee Onboarding Program for Production Employees Facilitates New Employee Training Program ensuring necessary knowledge and skills are attained before new hire begins assembly work. Continuously evaluates program effectiveness, making improvements as needed. Develop and Deliver Training Programs & Materials Partners with Learning & Development Team Members, Department Managers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and assess technical training needs. Develops and delivers training programs via various training methods (e.g. classroom, virtual instructor led, e-learning, on-the-job, etc.) and teaching aids. Evaluates training effectiveness and reports on employee learning progress. Incorporates feedback into ongoing enhancements of the training program. Coordinates training events, training communication and logistics, and ensures training activities are recorded and tracked accordingly via LMS management. Keeps current with learning and development trends and resources. Ensures best practices are incorporated into HME training programs. Manages Training Program for Production Employees Works closely with management to monitor and address gaps in skills matrix. Assists participants in developing specific skills related to work processes. Ensures compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Standard Work (SW) and Work Instructions (WI's). Teaches and models technical skills, concepts, resources and tools. Performs regular recertification of employees' skills. Manages LMS for Production-related curriculum. Ensures training activities are recorded and tracked accordingly. Assists with user access issues and provides user training as needed. Additional Responsibilities Supports tracking, information uploads/downloads, and troubleshooting ETP (Employee Training Panel) contract. Provides instructional design assistance for the development and/or editing of internal courses. Assists the Learning & Development Team with managing the LMS. Conducts needs assessments for training content creation with SMEs in Manufacturing Department. What you will need to succeed: Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate and present information appropriate to audience, from assemblers to engineers to management. Able to ask open-ended questions, listen intently, and facilitate effective conversations and training. Possesses strong business acumen and demonstrates global and cultural awareness. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to details. Able to perform basic inspection techniques. Proficient in MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient in Articulate and RISE, and instructional design skills (e.g. ADDIE) Experience using precision tools. Ability to use tools such as magnifying glass and other handheld tools. Knowledge of Lean and previous experience working in a Lean environment a plus. Knowledge of GMP/QSR/ISO regulations and compliance requirements a plus. Experience in TWI (Training Within Industry) training methodology a plus. IPC Certification preferred. Experience Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment Minimum of 3 years experience delivering training to adult learners. Education BA or BS (college graduate) a plus Travel Occasional, as required The posted pay range, $68,640 to $79,600, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
