What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Design, install, maintain, support, and develop IT systems in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
Ensure application security and compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks
Develop requirements for support applications, including dashboards and process automation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure application development and deployment
Perform application security assessments and address identified vulnerabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
5+ years of experience in designing, installing, maintaining, supporting, and developing IT systems in hybrid environments
2+ years of experience in cybersecurity
Strong scripting skills in Java, Python, SOAP API, and SQL for automation and tool development
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, etc.)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
Prior experience in the health domain or supporting a Government agency
Additional relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH
Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
