What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code for cloud environments and third-party tools Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve developer velocity and code quality Automate release management processes, including deployments and rollbacks Implement security measures related to client and server-side risks, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines Build resilient and compliant systems for customers in federally regulated environments
What is Required (Qualifications)
5-10 years of DevOps-specific experience Proficiency with Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and shell scripting Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, DHCP, NAT, subnetting, routing, firewalls, load balancing) Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and designing blue/green deployments
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes add-ons (FluxCD, Istio, Kustomize), and AWS ECS Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and Node Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL Background in site reliability engineering and performance scalability Understanding of compliance in federally regulated environments (HIPAA, FERPA)
