Accounting Manager - Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach, Florida Fins up! Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking applications from seasoned professionals for the exciting role of Accounts Payable/Receivables Specialist! Nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida’s vibrant landscape, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach, under the proud operation and ownership of TPI Hospitality, offers not just a job but an opportunity for unparalleled personal and professional growth. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the Company’s invoices including coding, processing, and research. In addition, the position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities
Invoice Processing and Payment Monitoring: Research and enter invoices into the accounting system. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date. Resolve invoice discrepancies by investigating and addressing any issues promptly. Customer Communication and Issue Resolution: Communicate with internal and external customers regarding invoice inquiries and payment matters. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure accurate billing and payment processing. Financial Record Maintenance and Support: Prepare daily receivable deposits to ensure accurate recording of payments received. Assist with account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Collaborative Support and Documentation: Provide support to other groups within the accounting department as needed, contributing to overall departmental efficiency and effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring documentation is organized and readily accessible for auditing purposes. What you will bring
Associate’s degree preferred. High School diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or experience in a general accounting position. Strong organization and communication skills. Ability to work under limited supervision and is able to problem-solve. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Have analytical abilities, teamwork capabilities and be results-oriented. Ability to work in a high-volume department. Prior Produce industry experience is highly desirable. Food Distribution software experience would be a plus. About TPI Hospitality
