Role description Arcadis is seeking a motivated Environmental Engineering Co‑op to join our East Windsor, NJ office for Spring/Summer 2026. While your primary reporting office will be East Windsor, there may be opportunities to work from the Philadelphia, PA or Conshohocken, PA offices as well.

Role accountabilities The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual looking for career exposure to environmental consulting and the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of environmental projects. Specialized training for performing on‑site act activities at hazardous waste sites will be provided depending upon project assignments.

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Collaborate with team focused on obtaining, interpreting and evaluating field and analytical data in order to prepare engineering reports, designs, permit applications, and construction-related documents.

Environmental remediation report and design tasks may include soil/groundwater/vapor remedial systems, innovative in-situ or ex-situ technology treatment design, and field assessments may also be a part of this exciting co‑op role.

Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies

Installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells

Soil and groundwater sample collection

Design and oversight of system improvement projects as well as system upgrades

Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC

Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support

Operation and maintenance oversight for remediation systems (both water and vapor treatment systems)

Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff

The ideal candidate will possess superior verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, and must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications & Experience Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or closely related field

Benefits Arcadis offers benefits for part‑time, as needed positions. These benefits include EAP, 401(k), and optional wellbeing benefits. The salary range for this position is $16.50 – $35.00 per hour.
