Position Summary We seek a
Mechanical Designer
with experience in commercial building systems to join our growing team. In this role, you\'ll work closely with engineering principals, project managers, and other design professionals to develop mechanical system drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other tools. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who values collaboration, attention to detail, and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed mechanical system design documents for commercial construction projects.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for system layouts and documentation.
Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
Review shop drawings and other construction-related documentation.
Conduct site visits for field investigation and project analysis.
Deliver responsive and high-quality service to clients.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment and help mentor junior staff.
Stay current with industry standards, codes, and technologies.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical design experience in commercial building projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated with a desire for professional development.
