Job Overview The Medical Assistant supports the medical and nursing staff in providing care and comfort to infant, toddler, preschool, school‑age, adolescent, and young adult patients during outpatient clinic appointments by performing routine clinical and clerical tasks. In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.
This position is per diem, non‑exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $24.95 - $35.23/hour. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity.
Responsibilities
Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs
Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions
Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions

Qualifications Required
Medical Assistant Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
