Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Human Resources Coordinator
to join our team. This entry-level HR role is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, hourly recruitment, benefits, HRIS management, payroll support, and general administration. This position will serve as a key point of contact in a plant manufacturing environment for employees and leaders, helping to ensure accurate, timely, and confidential Human Resource service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct hourly hiring process, including job postings internally.
Support employee relations by assisting in conflict resolution and communication
Administer and maintain employee records and HR documentation
Manage and update HR systems such as Dayforce, Verified First, and I-9 system
Support with Open Enrollment for Benefits and new hires with Benefit Enrollment.
Coordinate and lead employee engagement initiatives (e.g., morale events, recognition programs)
Ensure data accuracy in HRIS and assist with data audits and reporting
Serve as a resource to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and general inquiries
Support company-wide HR programs such as performance reviews, and training
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information at all times
Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
1–2 years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a generalist or coordinator capacity
Bilingual Required
Job Hours typically 8:30 AM to 5PM; however, every other week will need to either stay late or come in early to catch off shifts.
Skills And Abilities
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build trust and maintain strong working relationships across all levels
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable presenting in small group settings and delivering training sessions
Collaborative and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
