Overview

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist position is a key role that partners with management on business decisions related to people strategy and supports all Human Resource-related activity for internal client groups including but not limited to Media, Marketing, and Finance. Responsibilities emphasize strategic people partnership with a focus on employee relations management and performance management. Through active listening, sound advice and effective coaching, the HR Generalist will build trusted relationships with and be sought for advice from leaders, managers, employees and HR Centers of Excellence. What You’ll Achieve

Interact and engage with all levels of associate population. Ability to influence without direct authority across a dynamic, highly matrixed environment. Directly collaborate with and support Global Finance and Human Resources Leadership Teams from an HR perspective. Support, investigate, counsel, and coach in the following ways: conduct investigations on claims received, prepare and implement RIFs and involuntary terminations, work with managers to create and deliver written disciplinary actions, ensure timely, objective and actionable feedback, and assist in maintaining a positive work environment. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, increase employee engagement and morale, productivity and retention. Guide performance management processes including goal setting, employee development initiatives, mid-year and year-end evaluations. Provide coaching and support to managers on handling performance concerns, including giving feedback and creating coaching and development plans for employees. Partner with managers on delivering and maintaining Performance Improvement Plans and track progress in collaboration with leadership. Drive and provide feedback to COEs to improve HR initiatives (annual merit process, performance management lifecycle, mentoring, recognition initiatives, HRIS reporting, associate survey reporting, etc.). Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Apply knowledge of HR practices, principles, and relevant laws and regulations. Data-Driven Leader – Run HRIS reports to create routine and ad hoc reports (turnover analysis, recognition reports, promotion reports, etc.). Use insights to drive business decisions and transformations. Handle multiple demands simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines. Conduct exit interviews and stay interviews; provide feedback to clients on key themes while maintaining confidentiality. Document resignation trends and coach leadership on minimizing voluntary turnover. Coach and advise employees on problem resolution; help identify solutions and encourage constructive conflict resolution. Suggest and coordinate efficient organizational design; coordinate employee transfers or promotions, ensuring smooth transitions and feedback on salary changes as needed. Maintain a client-centered approach; respond promptly to inquiries from clients and colleagues. Leverage HR knowledge to partner with the business on special initiatives, org restructuring, workforce planning and succession management. Demonstrate interest in learning the business’s core functions, culture, industry and competition. Who You Are

What you’ll bring with you:

3-5+ years of cumulative HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR generalist/Coordinator role Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle data with confidentiality Excellent problem-solving skills; highly motivated and results-oriented Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills including experience addressing and working with senior leaders Ability to analyze data and recommend changes based on analysis Experience leading programs and projects through to completion Emotional intelligence and ability to express viewpoints to build effective solutions

Base Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and applicable employment laws.
