About the Role
Our client, a respected HVAC company in Cranford, NJ, is seeking an experienced and dependable Senior HVAC Technician. This role requires a strong technical background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, along with leadership skills to guide junior technicians and ensure high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installations, and be comfortable working in a customer-facing role. Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems Diagnose equipment issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements Lead and mentor junior technicians on job sites Ensure compliance with safety standards and local HVAC codes Document all service and installation activities using field service software Communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed and system recommendations Collaborate with office staff to coordinate scheduling and job updates Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential and/or commercial settings EPA Certification required; additional certifications are a plus Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service software is preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and lead by example Salary
