Create compelling multimedia content, including student and campus stories, internal announcement videos, social media promos, recruitment pieces, training modules, and other system‑wide projects.

Apply industry best practices across all phases of production—pre‑planning, content capture, post‑production, and on‑time delivery—while collaborating closely with stakeholders to align on creative vision and manage timelines in Basecamp.

Ensure consistent communication throughout each project, scouting locations, coordinating talent, securing release forms, and operating and testing all necessary production equipment.

Guide other departments and student groups on how to create on‑brand content independently.

Manage all aspects of production logistics, directing various types of shoots, and overseeing post‑production editing including video, sound, motion graphics, and effects.

Ensure safety protocols on set and stay current on industry trends, editing styles, and content platforms.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Film, Media, Management, Production, or a related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of four years’ experience working on film sets or as part of a production team.

Higher education experience preferred.

Strong understanding of video and digital storytelling within integrated marketing campaigns, with the ability to tailor content to various audiences and platforms.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite—especially Premiere, Photoshop, and Lightroom—is essential.

Hands‑on experience using a range of professional equipment, including Canon 5D DSLR, GoPro Hero 11, Rokinon cine‑lenses, DJI Ronin stabilizers, LED lighting kits, green‑screen studios, and professional audio tools.

Solid grasp of video production workflows, from pre‑production and scripting to studio and field shooting, lighting, editing, and final output.

Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects under pressure, and comfortable leading production teams.

Strong computer literacy, collaborative and independent work ethic, flexibility with scheduling and travel, and the ability to deliver high‑quality creative content on tight deadlines.

Familiarity with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
