Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Nurse to join our team at Greenfield in Royal Oak, MI. The Wound Nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, ulcers, and other skin conditions. This includes assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds to ensure proper healing and prevent infection.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing and documenting the status of patients' wounds
- Developing and implementing individualized wound care plans
- Providing wound care treatments, such as dressing changes and debridement
- Educating patients and their families on proper wound care techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
- Certification in wound care (WOCN, WCC, or equivalent)
- Prior experience in wound care nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
