Capabilities

Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements

Contributing to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions

Innovating RF signal processing applications

Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools

Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors

Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

Resolves software problem reports.

Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components

Required Qualifications

TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly

9 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering/Administration or roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.

A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience

Required Technical Skills

Proficiency working in Linux development environments

Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript

Desired Technical Skills

Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming

Experience with geospatial processing

Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays

Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools

Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools

$34.06 - $82.53 an hour

Pay Range: $34.06 - $82.53 per hour*

Hourly pay rates listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience, knowledge, skills, and competencies; certifications, and geographic location. *Hourly pay rates reflect the pre-benefit gross wage amounts.
