Overview
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) - a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval - award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
Duties
Duties include but not limited to: New/Annual Employee physical exams, Medical Screening programs, Epidemiological surveillance and contact tracing, Evaluate patients with acute and chronic diseases using appropriate diagnostics, Make medical decisions regarding therapeutics and diagnostics
Refer to specialty providers as needed
Evaluate work-related injuries/illnesses
Work with worker's compensation to ensure employees are followed appropriately; Work with human resources to ensure timely evaluation of onboarding employees. Exemplifies the ICARE core values of Integrity – Commitment – Advocacy – Respect – and Excellence
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m – 04:30 p.m
