The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the routine functionsof the Human Resources department including hiring and interviewingstaff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing companypolicies and practices.
Essential Functions
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute theorganization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as itrelates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention,and succession planning.
Provides support and guidance to HR generalist, management, andother staff when complex, specialized, andsensitive questions andissues arise; may be required to administer and execute routinetasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonableaccommodation, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Manages the talent acquisition process, which may includerecruitment, interviewing, and hiring ofqualified job applicants,particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles;collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills andcompetencies required for openings.
Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches andproposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure theorganization attracts and retains top talent.
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes,and new technologies in human resources, talent management, andemployment law.

Job Qualifications: (Ability)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to present a professional and personable personalitythat communicates to members and visitors that the Credit Union isa professional financial institution.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn theorganization’s HRIS
Job Qualifications: (Education/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration orrelated field required.
Minimum 3 years experience in human resources management.
SHRM-CP/PHR, SHRM-SCP/SPHR highly desired.
