Overview
Under the direction and supervision of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and in accordance with the mission and purpose of the YMCA, the Director of School Age Child Care is responsible for oversight and direct supervision of the School Age Childcare Program to assure safe nurturing and enrichment programs within our BASE program in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the Hamilton Area YMCA as well as state and local licensing requirements. Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree or Higher Preferred Experience in budget development/monitoring Two (2) years previous work experience in a Director or Department Leadership role Skills and Abilities
Communication, program evaluation, statistical analysis, organization, computer and planning skills as well as relational skills, integrity, flexibility, the ability to focus in the midst of commotion, and a proven track record of developing authentic and deepened relationships with others.
