This position is for a Project Engineer working on the Columbia Programs Portfolio within the MPES Engineering organization. The role is responsible for leading multi-disciplined engineering teams in the proposal, design, development, and delivery of next-generation products. As an integral part of our fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate is a key decision maker, leader, mentor, and motivator to their engineering team. Key interface between the Engineering team and the Program Management departments. Ensures all technical performance, cost, and schedule goals on the program are met. Acting as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and applications. Identifying and managing program technical risks. Establishing schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for tasks. Ensuring engineering processes are followed on projects. What you’ll get

Required Skills / Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Minimum 1 year of experience in leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation, and workforce planning. Minimum 2 years of experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools. Minimum 4 years of experience in developing, proposing, managing, implementing, and testing products and system solutions in power systems or related fields, including : Naval power or power conversion systems.Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assemblies.Production product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. Minimum 4 years of experience in temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration testing. Minimum 10 years of experience in DOD engineering development. Minimum 10 years of experience in Requirements analysis and definition. Minimum 10 years of experience in EVM / CAM. Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Master's Degree (MSEE, MSCS, MSSE). Bachelor's Degree in Systems or Electrical or Mechanical or Computer Engineering or Mathematics or Computer Science with a minimum of 4 years of experience. Effective presentation and communication skills. Experience in using product development processes and methodologies (ISO 9001 compliant processes). Agile Development Methodology (HW / SW). PMP Certification.
