Position Title: Senior Budget Analyst Position Overview: S2Technologies
is actively seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to provide support assisting with the development of DHS business process improvements and modernization projects. Key responsibilities include: drafting modern business methods, helping to identify best practices, and drafting performance measurements. Responsibilities: Support financial management and accounting operations within the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS). Analyze, track, and monitor accounting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist with a variety of budgetary, analytical, technical, and administrative tasks to support FPS programs and operations. Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to financial and programmatic tasks. Prepare and communicate financial data clearly and effectively to staff at all organizational levels. Provide ongoing support in completing assigned financial and administrative tasks as directed by senior leadership.
Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software applications, including Word, Access, intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to conduct online research.
Required Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and maintain a DHS security clearance; current clearance not required to apply
