Lead Billing Specialist Fleet Services by Cox Automotive (FSCA) is headquartered in Indianapolis and has grown to become one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country, providing on‑site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide for light, medium, and heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. FSCA also serves customers through its 20+ nationwide service centers and supports operations with a 24/7 in‑house call center. As the largest independent fleet maintenance company in the country, FSCA is hiring a Lead Billing Specialist to create invoices from repair orders, submit them to customers for approval and/or payment, and assist technicians with estimates.

Duties & Responsibilities

Verify that technicians have selected the correct VMRS code related to repairs made and that billing hours are in line with standard repair times.

Prepare actual invoices from created RO by applying customer‑specific rates and mark‑ups.

Improve RO quality by identifying weak points (e.g., missing, incorrect information), edit ROs so that customer disputes are eliminated and FSCA invoices the full amount for services provided.

Communicate with customers via email, fax, or phone to retrieve purchase order approvals and discuss billing issues.
