Location Michael Foods, Inc. Located in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania known for its ice‑cream socials at Klingerstown Lutheran Parish, fishing rodeo, and fireman’s parade.
Responsibilities
Partner with line leaders to drive plant performance by coaching, supporting, influencing, and enabling customer groups.
Manage employee relations issues and promote a positive, proactive employee‑relations culture.
Lead generalist HR functions including performance management, OJT, training, talent acquisition, new‑hire orientation, onboarding, benefits, compensation, and attendance.
Embed engagement, safety, and performance‑management culture to drive business improvement.
Support organizational change, structures, people processes, and business‑improvement initiatives within customer groups.
Provide decision support via HR data and metrics that align with business objectives.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to leverage resources and support company‑wide initiatives.
Lead projects that support plant and supply‑chain initiatives to enhance HR processes.
Minimize business risk and enhance company culture by ensuring management knowledge of all required legal subject areas (Compliance, Code of Conduct, Diversity & Sexual Harassment, Interviewing and selection skills, employment law, etc.).
Provide support to the HR Manager and HR team on various HR initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct workplace investigations and audits for payroll, benefits, and other HR programs.
Maintain a safe and healthy workplace and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to food‑safety and quality practices and report any conditions that adversely affect food safety and quality.
Qualifications
B.S. or B.A. degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
5+ years of increasing generalist responsibility within Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success managing projects.
Bilingual – English/Spanish.
