Overview
Crunchyroll is looking for a Marketing Manager for the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand region (UCANZ). This role reports to the Director of Marketing for UCANZ and supports business growth for the Crunchyroll brand in the UCANZ region, including title launches and brand initiatives. The role acts as a cross-functional campaign owner, driving insight-driven strategy and world-class creative execution, with a focus on locally relevant, holistic marketing campaigns in collaboration with regional and global teams. Key responsibilities
Execute and localize marketing strategy for UCANZ multicultural and college audiences through digital channels, events, and other GTM initiatives to deepen audience relationships, drive viewership and subscriptions, grow brand awareness, and leverage organic marketing efforts. Assist the execution of global and regional brand campaigns and events in partnership with the SVOD and Events Managers. Coordinate programs such as college marketing, multicultural initiatives, theatrical campaigns and streaming events, and partnership campaigns; support experiential and convention activations as needed. Facilitate communication with centralized internal Marketing, Audience Development, Creative Services and Accounting teams. Manage non-digital marketing programs and sponsorships and support experiential activations (e.g., music festivals) as needed. Manage incoming project requests, timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communication, including: Content brief creation for campaigns managed internally or with external agencies Program execution management Asset requests and specifications with agencies or creative teams Translations with localization Collaboration with Sony/SPE and Theatrical Marketing for assets for Paid Media/Digital campaigns in-market Track, measure and analyze performance across campaigns and optimize to achieve and exceed brand and growth KPIs. Contribute to growing Crunchyroll’s owned digital/awareness footprint in UCANZ, increase traffic to crunchyroll.com and improve search index ranking, drive fan engagement and streaming metrics. Foster a collaborative cross-functional culture and interface with tech/product teams related to multi-language needs (landing pages, show pages, SVOD curation guides, blogs). Maintain weekly reporting dashboards and KPIs to inform business strategy and provide insights to senior leadership and partners; collaborate with SVOD marketing managers on reporting. Continuously develop global processes, marketing and social media best practices, with regular experimentation and professional development; be willing to operate beyond core areas of expertise. Requirements
5+ years of marketing campaign experience (budget, concept, planning, integration, reporting). Direct-to-consumer, entertainment industry or streaming platform marketing experience required. Demonstrated expertise in campaign management and tailoring activations to audiences to achieve marketing or business goals. Experience developing business cases and ROI analyses to secure marketing investment. Proven ability to lead projects and small teams from concept to completion, with a test/learn mindset and strong measurement and optimization practices. Strong knowledge of the modern anime landscape, Crunchyroll ecosystem, broader gaming and pop culture, and multicultural communities is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; creative thinker and problem solver; team-oriented. Proficiency with Creative Asset Management systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Some national and international travel may be required. The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on location, experience and performance. The range listed is one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards. The Los Angeles, CA pay range is $86,000—$108,000 USD. Equal Opportunity
