Atlantic Cargo is seeking a proactive and dynamic Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas and a fresh strategy to our recruiting needs, and assist the full recruitment cycle. This role requires an understanding of internal recruiting processes in the transportation industry, specifically in trucking. The Recruiter will collaborate closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop strategies to attract top talent.
Responsibilities
Conduct internal recruiting efforts to fill open positions efficiently and effectively.
Generate leads through various channels, including social media platforms and networking events.
Perform comprehensive phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
Utilize HR sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates through databases, job boards, and social media.
Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitor talent acquisition strategies for retention purposes.
Facilitate employee onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth experience.
Conduct recruitment efforts to enhance employer branding.
Requirements
Proven experience in recruiting for the transportation/trucking industry and/or with a strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle.
Demonstrated ability in lead generation and effective interviewing techniques.
Experience with HR sourcing tools, including social media management and non-conventional methods for recruitment purposes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
