This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office. This role is responsible for designing and delivering process, system, workflow, and product solutions for JAMA and the JAMA Network by leveraging efficiencies and technologies. The role requires analytic thinking steeped in scholarly journal publishing business models as well as new technologies. The role combines deep domain knowledge, data-driven market analysis and strong execution to deliver solutions that meet user needs and support revenue and margin growth (ROI). Translates business needs into workflow or technology solutions that drive reduced manual tasks and processing time for the business while increasing adoption with customers. Collaborates closely with sales, marketing and Product Managers to develop editorial and publishing solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives. Collaborates closely with JAMA editorial and production to drive performance improvements, ensuring alignment with quality and speed objectives.
