We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior Software Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies to spearhead the development and deployment of advanced data and AI/ML solutions. This role will focus on cloud solutions, with additional responsibilities for future software deployments to on‑premises and edge environments. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that our infrastructure supports robust, secure, and scalable software products for the Federal Government. Key areas of emphasis include data management, situational awareness, mission management, and AI/ML solutions. Responsibilities
Create and implement the underlying software infrastructure, including cloud based systems, networking, and storage solutions
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation workflows to deploy and manage infrastructure, using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Ensure that all software infrastructure aligns with security, compliance, and regulatory standards relevant to our industry and clients
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, product managers, and security experts, to deliver integrated solutions
Monitor system performance, identify and resolve issues, and respond to incidents or outages to ensure reliability
Develop and maintain documentation for software infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures
Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve infrastructure capabilities
Qualifications Required:
Top Secret Clearance required with SCI eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of experience working as a systems/cloud administrator or in a related field, with a strong focus on software cloud technologies
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for provisioning cloud and on-premise resources (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
Proficiency in networking protocols, security practices, and enterprise architecture frameworks, with a deep understanding of networking services (VPC, Route 53, etc.)
Desired:
Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is: $105,100-$231,100
