PT Sales Advisor – Ted Baker – Chevy Chase United Legwear & Apparel Co. is seeking an enthusiastic, customer‑focused Sales Advisor to join our team at the Ted Baker location in Chevy Chase. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and upholding the Ted Baker brand’s high standards.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $18.00/hr – $18.50/hr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience; please discuss with your recruiter for detailed information.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers, advising them on Ted Baker products, and ensuring a memorable shopping experience.

Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and executing visual merchandising directives.

Maintain the store’s appearance, including replenishment and housekeeping, to reflect Ted Baker’s brand standards.

Support the management team by implementing the company’s sales strategies and achieving key performance indicators.

Actively build positive customer relationships, record client details in the database, and follow up on special requests.

Adhere to all health and safety, loss prevention, and cash handling procedures.

Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

Previous retail sales experience, preferably in fashion.

Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team, manage multiple tasks, and remain organized in a fast‑paced environment.

Comfortable with handling select and gift products and using retail technology.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in fashion or retail management is an advantage.

Willingness to work various shifts and hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions The role requires frequent walking, standing, and stooping throughout the store. Employees may lift up to 50 pounds, use hands for handling products, and operate electronic systems. The environment is fast‑paced with moderate to high noise levels.
