Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Staging Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting staging inventory (furniture, artwork, accessories) to and from project sites, assisting with loading/unloading trucks, moving items on-site, and helping with setup and installation for staging projects. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented, physically fit, and has a positive attitude when working with a team.
Reponsibilities Safely drive company vehicles (box trucks, vans) to and from warehouse and project locations. Load and unload furniture, décor, and accessories with care to prevent damage. Assist with the physical moving, placement, and installation of staging items according to design plans. Handle furniture assembly/disassembly if needed (beds, tables, etc.). Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and warehouse loading areas. Perform basic equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs. Follow all safety procedures during loading, unloading, and on-site installation. Communicate professionally with team members, clients, and site contacts. Assist with wrapping, packing, and protecting items during transportation. Occasionally assist with warehouse tasks like inventory management and preparation for upcoming projects. >
Qualifications
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but a plus). Prior experience in furniture moving, delivery driving, staging, or related fields preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy furniture and décor (50-75 lbs) consistently. Comfortable using moving equipment (dollies, straps, blankets, etc.). Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to take direction and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule; willing to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
