Join Maximus as a Bilingual Outreach Customer Service Representative in San Francisco, CA. The role involves educating and enrolling Medi‑Cal beneficiaries into managed care health plans.
Description & Requirements Outreach CSRs are the face of Medi‑Cal managed care in California. You will engage patients, provide information, and assist with enrollment into health plans.
Location : Onsite at our San Francisco office on Otis St.
Travel : Must be willing to travel throughout the county as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Foster strong customer relationships and monitor engagement progress.
Collaborate with customers to achieve program goals and maintain eligibility.
Conduct workshops and deliver training services.
Provide program knowledge to assist customers through enrollment and benefit allocation.
Help customers access services such as educational training, medical support, childcare, transportation, mental health services, legal aid, and related needs.
Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are met and address queries.
Collaborate with team members to resolve participant issues.
Maintain accurate, timely case notes and related documentation.
Report outreach and engagement updates to project staff.
Identify barriers hindering customer engagement and report to staff.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED; 0–6 months of relevant professional experience or equivalent education/experience.
Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
Valid California driver’s license.
Knowledge of the local community.
Willingness and ability to travel throughout counties as needed.
Fluency in English and Spanish.
Six months of customer service experience.
Presentation and/or public speaking experience (teaching, marketing, community outreach, etc.) preferred.
Experience working with low‑income and diverse populations preferred.
