GENERAL PURPOSE:
Unload and load trucks, review incoming and outgoing Bill of Lading and Manifests for accuracy, sample incoming shipments, prepare receipt and shipment tally sheets, verify weights, labeling accuracy and correctness, record all product movements in SAP inventory systems according to established procedures, with minimal supervision.
Works within the scope of the Environmental Management System (EMS) to support the Policy on the Environment, Health and Safety. Comply with all HSE regulations, policies, standards, and practices including, but not limited to: identifying and wearing all necessary PPE, conduct and document inspections of motorized equipment and ladders prior to use, properly label all containers, report all injuries and unsafe conditions, maintain high level of housekeeping in assigned work areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Regulatory & Environmental Compliance
- Participate in the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure compliance and pollution prevention.
•
Shipping & Receiving
- Handle all incoming/outgoing trucks for catalysts, equipment, and supplies using forklifts and warehouse tools.
•
Sample Management
- Collect, label, and deliver samples to the lab per procedures.
•
Product Labeling & Documentation
- Verify proper labeling for received/shipped materials and complete all SAP entries and tally sheets accurately.
•
Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures during loading/unloading; use respirators when working in dusty or hazardous environments.
•
Warehouse Operations
- Move, repack, relabel, and store materials properly; maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
•
Equipment & Inspections
- Perform daily forklift inspections and assist with hazardous waste or production verification as needed (Lafayette Site only).
•
Independent Operations
- Manage shipments/receipts and related paperwork independently during off-hours; perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Highschool Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to operate a 6,000 lb forklift to load/unload trucks and move various materials and equipment safely under varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet departmental needs.
• Must be capable of performing physical inventory counts throughout all facility areas, including climbing steps, stairs, and ladders.
• Must be able to complete and deliver accurate paperwork to other departments as needed to meet deadlines, and maintain accurate departmental records.
• Must be physically capable of handling drums and bags of various sizes and weights (up to 55 gallons), manually or with mechanical assistance.
• If assigned, must operate and maintain the floor scrubber in the warehouse area.
