Structure, underwrite and manage new and existing asset securitization warehouse and lending transactions while working constructively with ABS Banking and CIB Coverage. Collaborate with internal partners including Banking, Risk, Operations, and Legal to achieve seamless execution, appropriate risk mitigation and strong client experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead and drive warehouse deal execution through a proactive approach to underwriting and structuring in coordination with banking teams.
Demonstrate subject matter expertise; translate knowledge into strategic dialogue and value added ideas.
Collaborate with internal partners, including risk, to achieve optimal client outcomes.
Mentor and develop junior teammates.
Communicate complex or difficult ideas clearly, concisely and persuasively.
Demonstrate the Truist values.
Adheres to risk/compliance policies and guidelines.
In addition to new deal execution, manage a portfolio of 20-25 client exposures across multiple asset classes.
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree
Licenses: Series 7, 79, and 63
7-11 years of related work experience
Strong technical skills, (including financial analysis, modeling, presentation) and developing subject matter expertise
Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork, trust and accountability
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas to facilitate execution
Preferred Qualifications
MBA degree, with a Finance focus
7-11 years of deal execution and underwriting experience
Solid subject matter expertise including knowledge of industry drivers, product positioning, credit underwriting, structuring, and risk mitigation.
Proactive and can independently lead a deal team
